Mom's Spaghetti Sauce

 

Brown the ground beef, then drain fat from meat.  Then add additional ingredients.  Simmer 30-40 minutes, stirring frequently.

 

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 med onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed, or 3 tbsp already chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 bayleaf (remember to remove after cooking)
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp oregano or Italien herb
  • 1 c water
