Mom’s Char Suey Bow

 

Dough

First mix liquids,

        2 tbsp oil

         c milk

        1 egg

Then mix in:

        2 tbsp sugar

        1 tsp salt

 

And finally add to middle of the top:

        2 tsp yeast

Filling

First mix:

        8 oz diced char suey or meat of your choice

        2-3 green onions, chopped

        1/3 c water

 

Then mix and bring to boil the following, then add to above:

        2 tbsp oyster sauce

        1 tsp cornstarch

 

Let cool and use for filling

 

Mix in machine on dough setting. 

At end of dough setting, remove from machine and knead a few times. 

Divide into 12 balls, and put filling inside. 

Seal well, then place seam side down to bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
