The plan today was to test out a few Cheddar cheeses in Tillamook.  After a quick run around the memorial ballpark, we instead went to a Radio Shack, Costco, Fred Meyers, and bought LP for the RV.  I bought a new laptop at Costco (great deal and no taxes in Oregon).  Nothing like goofing around on a holiday.  We did take a nice walk on the beach at Cannon Beach, taking time to let Mikey run off leash while viewing Haystack Rock.  It was difficult to determine if the tide was coming in, or going out, as the surf seemed to be up.  Several tide pools were covered with small green and red anemones.  Further down the road, we stopped and took a break at a beautiful spot named Neahkahnie Mtn overlooking the Pacific and the town of Manzanita.

 

We eventually stopped for the night at a small RV park near a lake with fishing potential.  $20 for 2, $24 for the three of us.  Included cable tv.  wooo-hooo.  Checked out my new laptop.  Found that I couldn't transfer any files via floppy, or IR due to problems with the old laptop.  It was about time.   The new laptop works with the digital images from my Nikon 995 easily and efficiently.  Check out the happy senior citizens!
