Day 10, Friday, September 27th, 2002

Drove from Willits to Clear Lake. Drove the route clockwise around the lake, taking in the view. Beautiful bone dry golden grass and brush covered hills, with very few trees, many dry creek beds. Primarily cattle country. Finally stopped along the southern edge of the lake at Edgewater RV. Set up camp relatively early in the afternoon. Dad was off to fish from the fishing dock and pier, while Mom and I went for a video and to check out the Mt. Konocti Resort (large conference, holiday, ampitheatre, golf course setup). Dad had got about 5 large bluegill, which mom had for dinner. We then spent some quiet time watching "By the Numbers" on my laptop.

Off to San Fransisco via Napa Valley in the morning.
